Pastor's Note 12.20.2019

“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light. On those living in a pitch-dark land, light has dawned.” (Isaiah 9:2)

Good Day Family,

God’s light has truly dawned upon us, let us rejoice and be glad! As we quickly approach the last days of Advent and enter into the Christmas season, we have opportunities to celebrate in worship. This Sunday, the young people will offer their Christmas Program, Happy Birthday Jesus, under the direction of Joe Calfo and Patty Heiland. I am grateful for their leadership and commitment. Please support our youth who have been working so diligently on this program. On Christmas Eve, our Candlelight Service, Word and Song, will be opened with a Prelude Concert at 6:30 PM. This is an addition to our Christmas Eve celebration, and it should be a blessing. Finally, we will join in worship at First Methodist on Sunday, December 29 at 10:45 AM. Pastor Paul and I look forward to our combined worship service.

For those traveling, you are in our prayers and we pray we are in yours. For all, let us give thanks for the Light of Christ that dawns in us and through us each day.

In light,

Be well,

Pastor Cheryl
