Pastor's Note 11.01.2019

Good Day Family,

“Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God.” – Philippians 1:3

This Sunday marks the beginning of a new worship series: “Joy and Thanksgiving: Loved by God.” It is truly fitting as we are entering into a season of joy and thanksgiving. I give thanks for you, this congregation and community, as you have embraced me so fully in the few short months that I have been serving with you. It will be my great honor to be installed as your Pastor and Teacher on Sunday, November 3 at 3 pm in the company of family, friends, colleagues and community. What great joy!

We will also give thanks, during our morning worship service, for the lives of those who have gone before us in a Ritual of Remembrance as we observe All Saints Day.

And I am also delighted to announce a new beginning as Patty Heiland will join us on the journey as our new Director of Music, effective this Sunday. Patty brings a wealth of experience, passion, and joy in music ministry. I look forward with anticipation to our ministry of music.

We have so much for which to be thankful. God’s loving provision and presence as well as God’s grace and favor flow abundantly in our lives.

O give thanks!

Be well,

Pastor Cheryl
