Good Day Family,
“A body is a unit and has many parts; and all the parts of the body are one body, even though there are many…” (1 Corinthians 12:12b)
The connections within our physical bodies are called joints – the place where one part is joined to another. They bend, twist and turn, and are a mark of our flexibility. Many of them have names, such as our elbows or knees. Those places of connections, of joining, are as important as the individual member parts, which also have names but aren’t as familiar to us, such as the tibia.
We are entering into a season of joining. This Sunday, we are delighted that the Cliffords (Cyndi and Jim) have decided to become members of our congregation, and we will receive them in worship this Sunday, October 27. Please join me in welcoming them into our community.
The following week, a long-anticipated day will come to fruition. I will be formally installed as your Pastor and Teacher…another joining. We have planned a great worship celebration with a few special elements and a reception to follow.
"Look at how good and pleasing it is when families live together as one!” (Psalm 133:1)
How happy am I to join with you!
Be well,
Pastor Cheryl
