Human Wisdom…Human Strength

This is because the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is

stronger than human strength.

(1 Corinthians 1:25)

Human Wisdom…Human Strength

Good Day Family,

God created us in the divine image. A little lower than the angels, the psalmist declares. We have been endowed with wisdom and discernment, intellect and free will, strengths…and weaknesses. We were made to be like God, but we are not God. Our limitations cause us to rely upon God’s guidance and direction. When we listen, we can hear the nudges of the Holy Spirit. When we spend time reading our bibles, we receive the revelation of God given through human testimony.

God does not leave us to our own devices. Thankfully, we can depend upon God to lead us and redirect us when necessary. When we ask, God answers. Even when we turn from God, our Creator pursues us. When we are weak, we can hold on to the God who is strong. When we act foolishly, we can trust in God’s wisdom to correct our way. That’s good news!

Relying upon God,

Be well,

Pastor Cheryl
