Over the last few months, I have found myself taking walks in a nearby park several days each week. It overlooks Lake Erie, and one day, the skyline was so beautiful I took a picture of it. Another day, I was so arrested by what I saw, I shot a short video of it and said a brief prayer of thanksgiving for God’s glorious creation. I’ve continued the walks and the videos, which I share on social media, including our Facebook page.
One thing I know…I encounter God in nature. There’s something about the water or landscape that makes me think of God. It can be rocky terrain or a lush garden. For me, it all points to God.
The world is God’s sanctuary. In the beginning, every part of creation brought glory and honor to God and the Lord could be found everywhere. God still can, and aren’t we blessed to know it? Aren’t we blessed by a God who is everywhere and is also with us. Thanks be to God!
Walking with God,
Be well,
